We're excited to be recruiting a Living Well Manager to our team!

We're looking for those that can enhance customer experience through delivery of an efficient and effective Living Well service.

You'll contribute to the development and implementation of policies and best practices, that enable greater customer voice, support their aspirations and to contribute to our corporate and business objectives through our Living Well Services.

Further to this you'll take primary responsibility for the management of the Living Well service to our customers, which ensures excellent value for money and continually improves service. Strive to deliver a Living Well service through locality-based teams working collaboratively with Locality Housing Teams, statutory partners and like-minded organisations across Wythenshawe and beyond to provide a Living Well service that delivers outcomes that are meaningful and measurable for customers and the business.

The Living Well Team, as part of Wythenshawe Community Housing Group's (WCHG) Living and Ageing Well Strategy, focuses on enhancing the wellbeing, health and quality of life for customers.

We work to support customers in living independently, ensuring they have the necessary tools and assistance to manage their daily lives effectively. Our initiatives include providing support and resources to promote sustainability, active lifestyles, mental health, and social inclusion. Additionally, the team collaborates with partners and local organisations to deliver tailored support that address the specific needs of different community groups, fostering sustainable neighbourhoods. Through these efforts, we aim to create a supportive and resilient community where individuals can thrive at every stage of life.

To excel in this role, you'll need the following key skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Relevant professional housing qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience of managing, developing and motivating a team providing front line services to customers across localities and neighbourhoods (direct tenancy support experience preferred)
  • Experience of developing staff objectives and effective management.
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of current legislation in relation to housing issues, Support, Hoarding, Safeguarding and Domestic abuse
  • An understanding of policy issues and the ability to implement change and new processes
