Accounts & Audit Senior – excellent opportunity for progression

As Audit & Accounts Senior you will have the opportunity to lead audits and supervise junior members of the team as well as having regular client contact. You will work with a diverse client portfolio and your time will be spent across both audit and accounts.
As Audit & Accounts Senior your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning, executing, and completing audit engagements for a range of clients.
- Managing the audit process, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Preparing audit strategies and ensuring that they align with clients' business and financial needs.
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior auditors and trainees.
- Providing guidance, training, and feedback to junior team members.
- Ensuring that the team follows the audit plan and that quality standards are maintained.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients during the audit process.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing them with regular updates.
- Addressing client queries and offering advisory on complex accounting or business issues.
- Identifying key business and financial risks within client organisations.
In order to be considered you will be a part or fully qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with at least 2 years' experience in in audit – ideally leading audits. You will have strong technical knowledge around Accounts and Audit and will be confident in dealing with clients and managing relationships.
