School Administrator- Manchester

The innovative school is looking for a dedicated Receptionist to manage a variety of daily tasks on a long-term basis:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist all visitors to the school.
  • Handle and direct all incoming phone calls.
  • Perform various administrative duties in the school office, including using the SIMS system.
  • Oversee general email accounts, responding to queries and forwarding inquiries appropriately.
  • Help maintain contact records for students, staff, and trustees.
  • Prepare mailing labels, order office supplies, and manage first-aid equipment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a school office setting, with a preference for SIMS proficiency.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, students, and parents.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to efficiently run the school office.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive thinking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • This position offers a wonderful opportunity to work full-time in an educational environment.

Candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new DBS to be considered.

Contracted Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This position is currently temporary with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
