Engineering Manager / React / .NET / C#
Fantastic opportunity to lead both a front end and back-end team who are designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software products. This role involves both managerial and technical oversight, but will be more focused on management, circa 80/20 split.
Responsibilities will include:
- Line management and career development for a team of 10
- Timely and quality delivery of technical projects and product features
- Implementation engineering best practices
- Collaborating closely with Product Management and Architecture to ensure that the vision for our product is understood
- Collaborate closely with the Delivery Team, Head of Engineering and HR to ensure that the vision for our product is understood, timelines are adhered to and culture ambitions are achieved
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Essential skills include:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in a tech leadership or managerial role
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Proficiency in React, .NET, C#
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
