The Role
We are looking for an Operations Manager with relevant operations experience and transferable skills. Ideally you will have a FMCG production background and be able to ensure that the right stock in the right quantity ends up in the right place!!
Job Duties:
- Production planning and scheduling
- Manage contract partners
- Oversee accuracy of information in the production management system including goods out to billing
- Booking of 3rd party movements
- Site/Office Management, Legal compliance, site Consumables and site Maintenance
- Supplier Management (e.g. utilities/waste/phone/internet)
- Management of packaging materials
- Financial control and Invoice approval
Skills and Qualifications:
- A knowledge of the manufacturing food & drink industry is advantageous but not essential. The individual will require a range of skills:-
- Organised and structured, Task Oriented, Great Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Good Math Skills and Computer Literacy (especially Microsoft office), Customer Relations, Crisis Management, Administrative Skills, Attention to Detail
