In this newly created role as Accounts Assistant, you will work as part of a small, friendly and outgoing team, which is part of a bigger highly successful business.

You will report into the Finance Manager, she will work closely with you and help you to develop in your career.
In this busy office you'll raise customer invoices, issue statements and process supplier payment runs.
Daily, you will manage the account mailbox including assisting with reconciling supplier statements, customer remittances and match purchase invoices.
You must have attention to detail, be able to communicate with customers and assist with any invoice queries. You are familiar with working your way around a fixed asset register and will be able to post depreciation, additions and disposal journals on Xero. Don't worry if you have not used Xero, you will be trained on this system. You will be happy to process monthly payroll, including pensions.
You will have an outgoing personality and welcome communicating with internal project staff, raising queries with any job profit reporting.
You may be studying AAT or would like to start your finance studies to run alongside the experience that you already have. This company will help and support you if this is what you are interested in to develop a long-term career in finance.
