Your new role
- Develop and optimise supply chain strategies for innovative projects in the development, construction and/ or operational phases (e.g. CCGT with CCS, Gas Engines, Green H2 production, Battery Storage).
- Develop and execute sourcing, assessment, negotiation and contract execution strategies.
- Develop, negotiate and apply appropriate contract terms and conditions to suit project activities (e.g. NEC4, FIDIC).
- Lead highly complex negotiations with external suppliers and represent the company when meeting/negotiating with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Optimising the price vs performance ratio and leveraging market synergies.
- Establish and maintain strong working / strategic relationships with project team and relevant business stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven capability / skills in complex CAPEX & OPEX negotiations.
- The ability to influence and manage across multidisciplinary teams.
- Expected to have significant experience in construction/infrastructure or complex procurement projects.
- Ideally MCIPS
- Must be able to travel to the South West 2 times per month
