The role
The PR Senior Account Manager will support and work alongside the Senior Leadership Team in delivering the new business process, leveraging the skills and experience of the wider team.
The PR Senior Account Manager will be the day-to-day contact for clients when required and will manage portfolio of clients as well as managing team of AE/SAE.
We are looking for a proactive, collaborative and straight talking PR Senior Account Manager with great media connections, good at content and great client relationship.
This is a client facing role and you will be in constant contact with clients, you will write press realises, media cover through TV, radio and online.

Responsibilities and skills

Client/account management:

  • Interpret and respond to client briefs and develops effective communication strategies and advice for the benefit of the client
  • Demonstrate creative thinking to develop relevant and impactful stories for clients, that meet objective and deliver coverage
  • Act as the primary contact to clients, continually fostering the client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
  • Resolve client issues and have clarity about desired outcomes, escalating as appropriate and recommending best approach to senior account lead

Media and sell in:

  • Monitor the media landscape for new opportunities to sell in additional services to clients to enhance revenue and profitability
  • Leading by example for junior staff to be inspired and motivated

Business Growth/leadership:

  • Take a leadership role in delivering new business, leading new business initiatives, and driving pipeline growth by proactively identifying and delivering opportunities for growth
  • Manage personal and team time meticulously, as well as assisting junior staff in managing their workloads
  • Develop a personal network of internal and external industry contacts, identifying new business opportunities resulting from these contacts to the benefit of the business
  • Develop new business leads and assist in the negotiation process with prospective and existing clients and suppliers.
  • Being a proficient line manager with little or no guidance from own line manager and seniors with dealing with issues
  • Run broadcast workshops, broadcast surgeries and internal lunch & learns

We are looking for PR Account Manager as well.

In return for your skills and experience as PR Senior Account Manager our client is offering salary in range of £40-46K plus benefits outlining clear career progression plan.
