We're hiring a Technical Support Officer for a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days at home). This entry-level role is ideal for life sciences graduates looking to work outside a lab, within commutable distance of Eastleigh, Hampshire. All training provided!
As the first point of contact for customer enquiries, you will play a crucial role in managing customer and supplier accounts, ensuring timely responses and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone, or website.
- Handle product inquiries, price and sample requests, and documentation requests.
- Maintain product knowledge and liaise with suppliers.
- Record activities in the CRM system.
- Monitor sales for customer and supplier accounts.
- Identify trends for marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in life sciences (eg.Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences etc)
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Team player who can work independently.
