We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in information technology architecture, design, and implementation, focusing on advanced Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and other providers.
We are looking for deep expertise in Identity and Access Management technologies, Office 365 deployment strategies, and have a proven track record as a technical architect and project lead for companies of various sizes and industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee global Active Directory migrations and various divestitures/mergers, ensuring comprehensive design, cleanup, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Design and implement hybrid and non-hybrid Microsoft Office 365 deployments, advanced Azure security services, and key components of the Microsoft EMS solution set.
- Perform detailed analysis and migration of Azure Tenant services, including reclaiming orphaned tenants and eliminating unwanted URL path naming.
- Deploy and manage Azure Protection Profiles, Conditional Access, and Azure Information Protection policies to enhance security across enterprise environments.
- Act as chief technical architect and lead engineer in organizational divestitures, designing Active Directory migration processes using Quest toolsets in no-active-trust environments.
- Coordinate and guide enterprise-level Active Directory cleanup and functional upgrade processes, including GPO cleanup, OU/Delegated Administration evaluation, and SID-history cleanup.
- Transform global enterprise healthcare environments from on-premise systems to Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services, including domain consolidation, core design, and email migration.
- Implement secure Federated Trusts to facilitate collaboration across multiple bio-technology companies' on-premise services.
- Design and migrate on-premise data center services to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Application Services, and Azure Site Recovery Manager for financial services technology providers.
- Provide architecture and implementation services for domain consolidation and migration projects for mid-sized medical device manufacturers.
- Lead full stack EMS implementations for national staffing firms and full cloud environment design and migration of VMware virtual machines to AWS for international travel services companies.
- Evaluate and remediate Active Directory replication challenges for global organizations, ensuring effective resolution within tight timelines.

- Azure Tenant Migration: Reclaimed and migrated an orphaned tenant for an enterprise organization, eliminating unwanted URL path naming.
- Azure Protection Profiles Deployment: Demonstrated security features of Azure Protection Profiles, Conditional Access, and Azure Information Protection policies in an enterprise setting.
- Active Directory Migration for Divestitures: Designed and implemented Active Directory migration processes in legally complex environments using Quest toolsets.
- Active Directory Cleanup and Upgrade: Led enterprise-level cleanup and functional upgrades of Active Directory environments.
- Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Transformation: Managed transformation of on-premise environments to Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services for global healthcare enterprises.
- Federated Trusts Implementation: Implemented secure Federated Trusts for bio-technology companies.
- Azure Migration for Financial Services: Designed and migrated on-premise data centers to Azure, ensuring cost savings and FINRA compliance.
- Domain Consolidation for Medical Device Manufacturer: Architected and implemented domain consolidation projects for mid-sized manufacturers.
- AWS Migration for Travel Services: Designed and migrated on-premise VMware virtual machines to AWS for international travel services companies.
- Active Directory Replication Remediation: Successfully remediated complex Active Directory replication issues for a global travel company.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in information technology architecture, design, and implementation with a focus on Microsoft advanced technologies and cloud solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and Office 365 deployment strategies.
- Proven experience as a technical architect and project lead for diverse organizations.
- Expertise in Active Directory migrations, cleanup, and functional upgrades.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud environments, including Office 365, Azure security services, and EMS solutions.
- Ability to handle complex and legally sensitive organizational divestitures and mergers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with various industry toolsets and methodologies.
