Description
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate management reports and dashboards to track financial performance.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.
- Develop financial forecasts and rolling budgets to predict future financial performance.
- Analyse and control costs by reviewing expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis for projects, new initiatives, and investments.
- Assist in formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
- Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, suggesting strategies for risk mitigation and capitalising on opportunities.
- Ensure financial practices comply with statutory requirements and internal policies.
Profile
- Proven experience in a similar accounts function
- The ability to analyse and interpret data
- Excellent planning and organising skills - able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- The ability to prioritise own workload to meet business needs
- Attention to detail when producing data, reports, or other analysis
- Experience as a Management Accountant
- May be working towards an accountancy degree
