A Finance assistant is required to join an established Accounting & Finance team in the Business Services industry. The successful candidate will have a flair for numerical accuracy and a strong interest in financial management.

Client Details

Our client is a respected entity in the Business Services industry. This role is to join a busy Finance team of 4 and the role is based in their Warrington office.

Description

  • Assist the Finance Team with the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control.
  • Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses of the organisation.
  • Preparing supplier statement runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Send out reminder letters and monthly statements
  • Manage customer credit limits
  • Liaise with clients to resolve any financial discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular ledger reconciliation and report on any irregularities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the organisation's financial information.
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Finance assistant should have:

  • Previous experience within a Finance position.
  • Experience using Sage would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent mathematical skills and an analytic mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with financial regulations.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
