We are now looking for a keen Internal Auditor, at an incredibly exciting time for the business. This will start on a temporary basis before turning into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Description
The key responsibilities of this Internal Auditor role will be:
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans aligned with organisational objectives.
- Execute internal audits across various business units, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies for mitigating identified risks
- Lead and execute SOX compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and actionable audit reports to senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit processes, findings, and recommendations
- Evaluate and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy, and promote operational efficiency.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and controls.
Profile
The successful Internal Auditor will have:
- Experience in similar auditing or accountancy role
- Experience with SOX controls
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A self-starter attitude
