This role is designated as a Certified Function within the Senior Managers and Certification Regime under the category "Significant Management" because the role as a direct report of a Senior Manager Function role in the UK has a high level of responsibility and autonomy of action within the authority delegated to it, which has the potential to cause "significant harm" to the firm or its customers.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must have extensive relevant experience of working in a loan/credit administration/lending operations function of a reputable bank/financial institution and specific experience with bespoke lending transactions. You will have solid knowledge of credit risk principles and practices combined with strong commercial awareness and understanding of the broader context within which the team operates.

You will have excellent people management and communication skills and will have successfully managed teams ideally within a technical lending environment.

Professional training or qualifications in a numerical/business-related discipline and/or in-house training on loan/credit administration would be desirable for this opportunity.

Knowledge of Loan product development e.g. loan syndications and agency role would also be advantageous for this role.
