Salary: £12.40ph+ and then opportunity for permanent work after 2 months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Night Shift Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse/industrial environment. The successful candidate will oversee the cleaning staff, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervision of Cleaning Staff:

Lead and manage a team of cleaning staff during the night shift.

Schedule and allocate cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are covered.

Monitor performance and provide training and support as needed.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections of cleaning activities to ensure high standards are met.

Address any cleaning issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively.

Maintain records of cleaning schedules and inspections.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Provide training on the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Report any hazards or incidents to the Operations Manager immediately.

Operational Duties:

Perform hands-on cleaning tasks when required to support the team.

Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.

Assist with the development and implementation of cleaning procedures and protocols.
Requirements:

Experience:

Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or similar role within a warehouse/industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.

Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to obtain a DBS check or have an existing valid DBS check.

Must be able to provide 5 years of verifiable references.

Must have the right to work in the UK.
