Senior Data Analyst - Marketing/Sales team
Fully Remote - UK
Up to £100,000 + Benefits (including unlimited holiday)
A leading global retail business is looking for a Data Analyst to work within the marketing team to provide insights that will be the driving force for this 600 person business. Not only have they grown over 300% within the last 2 years, but they have secured Series B funding recently that will support their growth further as they scale to new heights.
A background in marketing data is preferred, as forecasting activity and funnel optimisation are key elements to the role. You will work closely with other data analysts as the driving force behind rapid growth over the next few years.
Working for this company will provide you a platform to be opinionated and give guidance and advice on what needs to be done to improve data insights. You aren't just somebody who does what they are told, but who questions every decision and adds value within a fully remote environment.
You will be responsible for enhancing data visualization for sales, funnel optimization, and forecasting. You will work closely with other talented data analysts, utilizing your expertise in Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, and other relevant technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify data analysis needs.
- Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in the optimization of sales funnels and forecasting models through data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, integrity, and governance.
- Work within the marketing function to enable growth using Data Analytics and Insights.
Skills required:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, and MATLAB,
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
