Our client is leading professional services firm based in Liverpool. They are looking for a committed and driven Second Jobber within a Finance field. You will have some experience working in a Credit Controller environment, supporting with inbox queries as well as providing wider finance support across the department.

This role offers opportunities to develop your corporate finance career long-term.

THE ROLE:

  • Reviewing the department credit control inbox, ensuring all queries are cleared daily
  • Liaise with the Revenue Controllers to raise and resolve any credit control issues or queries preventing settlement of debt.
  • Assisting with the production of regular reports and monitoring daily cash collection targets.
  • Assist office cashiers with reconciling bill payments, ensuring remittance advices are always provided.
  • Updating collections software daily, ensuring payment history contact data is always up to date.
  • Creating, formatting, and editing documents and presentations according to firm standards; managing correspondence including emails, letters, memos, and reports.
  • General assistance to the Credit Control Manager and Revenue Controllers with ad hoc projects as required.

THE PERSON:

  • Previous experience in an Finance/Credit control administrative role
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and procedures is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
