English Teacher

REED is collaborating with secondary schools across Hertfordshire to recruit dedicated English Teachers for long-term positions starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and NQTs to engage with students and contribute to their academic success.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging English lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Utilising effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Preparing educational materials that stimulate learning and cater to a range of abilities.
- Assessing and recording students' progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
- Collaborating with other staff members to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Participating in school meetings and events as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) status.
- Minimum of three terms of experience within a UK secondary school.
- Good classroom management skills.
- A resourceful and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Two strong references from previous educational roles.
