Financial Accountant

A dedicated and diverse company who are currently leading the way in providing the best technological solutions are looking for a Group Financial Accountant in what is a newly created position. The business is located near to Windsor and has been growing exponentially, implementing the best software systems to support the Finance team, and offering excellent opportunities for progression.

As the company's Group Financial Accountant, you will be working with the group FC to manage various facets across Finance. You will be partly responsible for the maintenance and development of their robust finance processes and procedures

Your Role & Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • The production of all financial accounts and consolidating the accounts from across EMEA
  • Responsible for the filing of accounts and returns with Companies House and HMRC
  • Review the accuracy of the underlying accounting records and where appropriate make corrections and adjustments to reflect the Financial Accounts.
  • Review the completeness and accuracy of bank postings and reconciliations to ensure that the Financial Accounts can be completed in a timely manner.
  • Produce and submit the VAT returns for a number of the entities for which we account

What Do You Need to Apply:

The ideal candidate will either be looking for their first move from practice or in a similar role of 5+ years. To be successful you will need to be a passed finalist or newly qualified candidate. Alternatively, the company is keen to hear from experienced candidates with prior experience from within a similar role. Attention to detail is a must and to be considered for the position and knowledge of SAP is a plus.
