A competent Head Chef is required for this all fresh Gastro Pub Group located close to Preston. As Head Chef, you will work closely with the management team, ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen on a day to day basis. The Head Chef role will involve running all aspects of the kitchen, training your team and ensuring the high standards already in place are kept and pushed even further. JOB DESCRIPTION
As Head Chef you will ensure the smooth running of this successful business. You will be responsible for shaping the food culture within the pub, collaborating closely with the Pub Manager to drive business success and working with Executive Chefs to create seasonal menus. As a Head Chef you will be required to nurture the team and foster an inclusive, supportive environment. Additionally, you will need excellent business acumen to efficiently manage the kitchen, overseeing stock, gross profits, and labour controls.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess proven culinary expertise, with the ability to prepare high-standard dishes using fresh ingredients. They will demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills, effectively leading and mentoring the kitchen team. Strong communication abilities are essential for successful collaboration and team cohesion. A track record of success in previous culinary roles is required, showcasing career growth and a relentless drive for excellence.
