Senior Operations Manager - B2B SERVICE

The Market Leader in Catering Equipment Services is looking for their next Senior Operations Manager. They are going through an exciting period of growth in the UK & they are looking for an excellent people manager with attention to detail, the ability to drive change and empower performance.

£70k- £75k + Bonus + Car Allowance £4800. They have some of the biggest clients in the UK & Internationally with a global footprint - we are not talking just Hospitality and Hotel clients only; we are talking large corporate brands including Buckingham Palace! Offices based in Berkshire and a presence across the globe.

Please note, this is NOT a Remote/Hybrid role, though you will be out meeting customers and out with the Engineers, this is a in the office role.

The Operations function you will be looking after is:

1 Operations Manager to train and develop + 5 Operation team members.

115 Field Engineers in the field you will oversee and go out with at times + 1 Field Manager to train and work with.

9 Customer Success members + 1 CS Manager to train and work with.

3 Account Managers to oversee.

Procurement.

They are going through an exciting period of growth in the UK & they are looking for an excellent people manager with attention to detail, the ability to drive change and empower performance.

What will you be doing?

  • Setting and evolving SOP's and Policies - anything from processing calls to customer feedback.
  • Monitoring Work in Progress - have we got visibility and allocated responsibilities for jobs at all stages - from quote to invoicing.
  • Internal KPI's and balanced scorecard - are they hitting utilisation targets, procurement SLA's, response times on emails?
  • Scheduling - optimising, routing, skillsets.
  • Materials -from new equipment through stocked inventory to the smooth-flow of spare parts.
  • Resources - fleet, tools, equipment - suitable, appropriate.
  • Account management - regular reviews with customers, mobilisation of new contracts.
  • Development and endorsement of our customer-facing systems, refinement of internal IT systems and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Team Management - we have a fantastic Operations team with experienced heads of department across Field Service Management, Customer Service, and Procurement & Compliance.
