Salary: £13,890-£15,397.20 per annum (pro rata of £23,150- £25,662 FTE) Band 2.1 - 2.3 on the Diocesan Pay Scale
Hours: 21 hours per week

Are you an experienced, organised administrator with excellent IT skills and a keen eye for detail? Are you looking to use or develop your skills within a HR function?

Here at the Diocese of Manchester we are seeking a well-organised, efficient and professional administrator to join our HR team on a temporary basis. The post holder will work alongside the HR Manager and has key working relationships with members of the HR team as well as other members of the MDBF. The postholder will help to input clergy updates in the People system, prepare Statements of Particulars for sign off by the HR Adviser and accurately transfer staff records and employment information from current databases and electronic folders to the new HR Management system.

We are really interested to hear from candidates with a broad range of administration skills, which may have been gained in a HR environment, although this is not essential. The postholder will have IT skills and must also be fully proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook due to the nature of the work. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be dealing with a diverse range of people, including staff, clergy, prospective employees and other members of the diocese.

To succeed in the role, you will have experience managing admin processes in an office-based environment.

Although experience of working within the Church of England is not required, the postholder should be sympathetic to the aims and values of the Church.
