SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B23 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024
We are seeking a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in the Erdington area. This role offers the rewarding chance to positively impact the development and achievement of students requiring extra support throughout their educational journeys. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to start full-time from September, continuing through the entire academic year. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one and group support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Help foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Work together with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students.
- Promote active participation and engagement in learning.
- Assist students with their overall wellbeing by providing targeted interventions to support their learning and development.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
- Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
