Cover Supervisor - Greenwich

Academics are recruiting for Cover Supervisors in Greenwich borough to assist our local clients with absent teacher cover. We have ad hoc, long term and permanent positions available.
We are looking for people with:
- Previous cover supervisor experience and those looking for flexibility.
- Graduates seeking practical experience working with children
- People considering a career in teaching and want paid experience.
Skills & Experience
Good numeracy & literacy skills. GCSE grade C/NVQ3 or equivalent in Math's and English.
Good communications skills to communicate clearly orally and in writing with students, parents and other staff.
Ability to work as part of a team.
An understanding and awareness of child safeguarding.
Proficient use of technology and how to use it effectively to support teaching and learning.
Typical Duties
Supervising and managing a lesson already set for a class.
Management of pupil behaviour & implantation of school pupil policy behaviour.
Able to cover across a range of different subjects and key stages.
Ensure pupils remain on task.
