Do you find yourself wanting more from your role and to do work that truly makes a difference in people's lives? If so, maybe it's time for a change. Maybe it's time to consider whether the legal work you do matters, because in the role we have for you, it really matters to the people you'll help.

This firm continues to go from strength to strength and, owing to continual growth, they are recruiting for a qualified solicitor that may be anything from newly qualified to four years' PQE, to join their General Personal Injury Litigation (GPIL) team in Kirkcaldy, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Based in heart of Kirkcaldy, the office is just around the corner from the sheriff court and 50 yards to the left of the pedestrianised precinct. The successful candidate will benefit from the firm's flexible hybrid working policy, meaning that you would not be required to work in the office five days per week.

The Kirkcaldy office is home to Fife personal injury solicitors that are trusted to help people affected by:

  • Motorcycle accident claims
  • Road traffic accident claims
  • Accident at work claims
  • Fatal accidents
  • Occupiers' liability cases

Summary of Position:

A Qualified PI pursuer, expected to be a strong litigator leading the execution of the dept/firm strategy, and to build skills in others and achieve a return for the firm through their efforts.

The post holder will be required to handle a range of cases; including RTA, Motorcycle, Occupiers' Liability, and Accidents at Work – you will be expected to assess and progress these cases in an appropriate manner, from inception to conclusion.

You will guide your cases through the litigation process. Occasional court appearances may be required and whilst supervision is readily available there will be an expectation that autonomy will be achieved as a development point.

Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor who is NQ or has up to 4 years PQE essential.
  • Previous general Personal Injury experience desirable.
  • Civil litigation or commercial litigation experience but with a desire to move to different work will be considered also.

If you think this role resonates with you and you are either looking for a change in role or a new adventure in a different area of law, please apply today!
