Position Details:
- Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Crisis Team
- Band: 6
- Location: Birmingham
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: Day shifts (with potential for condensed hours)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: £25.50 per hour
Role Overview
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients within the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Visits: Conducting regular visits to ensure patient needs are met and providing support.
- Medication Administration: Ensuring timely and accurate administration of medications.
- Patient Interaction: Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, monitor progress, and offer effective support.
- Risk Assessments: Performing necessary risk assessments to ensure patient safety and creating a secure treatment environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- NMC Registration: Active registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Community Experience: Demonstrated experience in a community setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to Care: A dedicated commitment to delivering the highest quality of care to patients.
