We have a great early career sales opportunity available for a graduate who has 6+ months of experience in sales or working with clients (b2b).

The company: Our client, a Global B2B events company, is hiring a Business Development Executive to join their Life Science events team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to sell Sponsorship & exhibition solutions to start-up companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell sponsorship and exhibition packages to start-up companies around the world.
  • Research the market to identify new prospects.
  • New business
  • Contact prospects and manage the sales cycle through to closing the deal!
  • Build strong client relationships.
  • Provide a consultative and solutions-focused sales approach.
  • Managing your sales pipeline and keeping your team updated on your progress
  • Work to agreed sales targets.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders - conference production, marketing and event operations teams
  • Attend your events and be the point of contact for your clients onsite
  • Become an expert on the market, and develop knowledge of key players and new start-ups as they launch.

About you:

  • Excellent professional communication skills; confident communicating over the phone, in writing and face-to-face.
  • Have experience in B2B Sales (recruitment, media, medical or Saas sales) or perhaps you have been working with business clients in a customer service role and are keen to develop a career in B2B Solution sales.
  • Ability to build client relationships, confident networker
  • Able to use initiative and have a proactive approach to work
  • Commercially acumen
  • A bright, positive outlook and a great team player
