Role – Monitoring Technician

Salary – £28,000-£30,000
Hours - Monday-Friday // 8am-5pm
Reed are currently working with a plant and machinery hire company who specialise in offering relocatable renewable energy solutions and solar power generation.
The company are looking to recruit a motivated individual or an individual with a background in hybrid systems, Solar PV and Generators, with the drive to devote themselves to learning our systems.
A good understanding of Victron products is preferred but not essential. The job will involve monitoring our growing fleet of power and lighting systems and advising our customers to enable the best performance to be achieved.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Remote monitoring of hybrid systems
- Remote monitoring of solar lighting systems
- Remote programming/ refining of settings
- Remote fault diagnosis on hybrid systems/ generators
- Analysis of system performance
- Components used within our Solar hybrid systems – Solar PV, Battery, Wind turbine, Generators Diesel
- Ability to liaise / advise site engineers on steps required to resolve faults
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Report to department head on systems performance on a regular basis.
