Relief Chef De Partie, Riverside Inn near Blackpool, Lancashire
We're looking for a strong Chef De Partie to join the friendly kitchen team to cover holidays at a charming riverside inn located just outside Lancaster. This job offers two weeks work, at the start of August.
Set in a picturesque location with stunning river views, this independently owned inn offers fresh, locally sourced food, a warm atmosphere, and a loyal customer base of both locals and tourists.
Position Overview:
- Role: Temporary Chef (Chef de Partie or higher)
- Location: Rural riverside setting just outside Blackpool
- Contract: Temporary - 2 weeks minimum
- Start Date: 4th to 17th August
- Hours: Full-time, flexible rota (mix of split/straight shifts)
The Role:
- Support the kitchen team during busy lunch and dinner service
- Deliver quality, seasonal dishes across a fresh, locally inspired menu
- Run a section confidently and maintain high hygiene standards
- Contribute to daily prep and specials where needed
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced Chef (CDP or above) with a solid background in fresh food kitchens
- Strong work ethic and ability to hit the ground running
- Calm, reliable and a team player
- Able to commit for the full length of the booking
- Must have own transport and/or be commutable to the area as accommodation isn't available during this busy period.
