Actively seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a small but growing technology business based in Paddington
Client Details
Our client is a well respected business within the technology sector. Due to growth, they are actively seeking a HR Advisor to join the team. This role will report to the Head of HR and work alongside a Talent Acquisition Advisor.
Description
- Build effective working relationships with employees at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice
- Support VP, Head of HR in advising and assisting people managers in disciplinary, grievance, probation management, performance management, sickness absence, and flexible working
- Manage and conduct exit interviews for mid-level employees and below; collect and consolidate feedback, and analyse it for key themes
- Counsel and coordinate health and welfare cases including maternity leave and long-term absence, and liaising with the employees, and escalating to VP, Head of HR when necessary.
- Support VP, Head of HR in projects including but not limited to performance management, employee engagement, recognition programs, and DE&I
- Keeping your ear to the ground and identifying and highlighting issues to the VP, Head of HR.
Profile
- 3+ years' experience working in HR administration, employee relations, or related area; ideally with some start-up or SME experience;
- CIPD qualified or working towards certification;
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are a must;
- Experience of supporting HR policies, processes and procedures;
- Experience working in an innovative, changing and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant UK employment law
- Strong computer skills
