Description
- Develop and implement media strategies to promote the public sector organisation
- Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists
- Oversee the creation of press releases, newsletters and other media materials
- Ensure the consistency of the organisation's image and message across all media platforms
- Monitor and analyse media coverage
- Coordinate with the marketing and agency department for integrated campaigns
- Manage crisis communications when necessary
- Guide and supervise the media team
Profile
A successful Media Manager should have:
- A degree in Media Studies, Journalism or a related field
- Experience in media management within the public sector is desired
- Knowledge of Media Law would be helpful
- Strong knowledge of current media platforms and trends
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a team
- Proven experience in developing and implementing media strategies
Job Offer
