Summary:
Our client is hoping to find a fantastic Housekeeper to join their team, who is happy to take care of a beautiful home consisting of 6 bedrooms, situated in an idyllic and secluded spot, approx. 6 miles south of Guildford.
The current housekeeper is sadly leaving and highly recommends this position, as she has loved working for the owner.
Duties to include:-
- Maintaining a high standard of immaculate cleaning with presentation, this includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, silver cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleans, cleaning fire grates, internal window cleansing deep cleans on a regular basis also required
- Stripping and making beds
- Laundry and ironing
- Assist with liaising with all types of contractors
- Keeping systems functional
- Watering indoor plants
- Forwarding mail
- Using an iPad for heatng controls
The ideal person must be reliable, trustworthy, have a positive attitude, good work ethic and a keen eye for detail. Someone who is meticulous and really takes pride in their work is key and has a friendly, sunny disposition. Candidates must be able to take instructions well, be willing to learn and be proactive and have the ability to work individually and in a team. Non-smoker essential. Must be animal friendly and be prepared to walk a Cavapoo dog on the odd occasion.
