Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our Chichester based buildings / construction sector business. The ideal candidate will have some experience or understanding of the buildings / maintenance sector and will be responsible for coordinating various project tasks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timelines are adhered to. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage administrative duties efficiently are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and track project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including contracts, reports, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, budgets, and schedules.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and addressing queries promptly.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and escalate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and update Excel spreadsheets to manage project data, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Manage and organize meetings, appointments, and other officebased tasks as required.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including filing, email correspondence, and office support.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in administration, ideally within the buildings sector.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have a full UK driving license.
