Brickwork Lecturer
Hourly Rate: £25.43 - £28.67

We are currently seeking a Brickwork Lecturer for a full-time, temporary position for the entire academic year at a well-established college in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who has both a teaching qualification and a qualification in brickwork or a related subject area.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver high-quality, practical, and theoretical brickwork lessons to students.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and structured assignments in line with curriculum standards.
Assess and evaluate students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment in both workshop and classroom settings.
Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the brickwork programme.
Engage with students to inspire and motivate them towards a career in the construction industry.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A recognised teaching qualification.
A qualification in brickwork or a closely related subject area.
Experience in teaching brickwork or construction is highly desirable.
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of the subject.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students.
An enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable, but candidates must be willing to apply for one if not currently held.
