Role: School Caretaker

Package: £24,294-£25,545 + additional on-call allowance and pay award pending
The opportunity:
We are looking for a confident and reliable School Caretaker to come onboard at a specialist school based in Newton-le-Willows. Our client has devoted themselves to the education and development of autistic young people for over 50 years now; their mission being to break down barriers and raise aspirations.

What your role will look like:
You'll be responsible for a variety of maintenance duties across the school's multiple sites so you'll hold strong maintenance skills and have sound knowledge of health and safety.
Joining a small team, you'll be a key-holder and participate in a standby rota for call out duties so a flexible approach is important here.
Who are we looking for?: You'll be a handy-person with experience of working in a similar facilities setting.
A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential as travel to different sites is required.
A DBS check will also be required.

-Up to £135 additional on-call allowance on a rota basis-37.5 hours per week - a flexible working pattern will be between 6AM-7PM as per the needs of the business
