Compliance Technology group is focused on building models to detect market abuse risk. The team is seeking to hire an experienced AI/ML Engineer with strong data engineering skills, knowledge of investment trade flows and expertise in Generative AI (GenAI), large language models (LLMs), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will have a solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, proficiency in managing and optimizing data pipelines, and experience deploying AI solutions at scale using GCP. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business problems.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement AI models, including LLMs and GenAI, to solve business challenges
  • Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure the smooth ingestion, processing, and transformation of large datasets
  • Deploy and manage AI/ML solutions on GCP, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Bigquery, Cloud SQL, Vertex AI Pipelines, and others
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of AI models and data pipelines.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for AI models, data pipelines, and cloud deployments to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on GenAI and LLM . for e.g. (desirable but not limited to) - different prompting strategies, model quantization, use of llm/agentic frameworks, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Terraform, Vertex AI, Cloud Run and related tools
  • Strong background in data engineering, including experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data processing frameworks
  • Prior experience working in investment bank will be preferred
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, MLOps practices and tools
