Finance Assistant
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 09:00 am to 17:00 pm
- Pay: £13.50 per hour - weekly pay every Friday and holiday pay
- Location: Kings Cross
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both purchase sales ledger and sales ledger, as well as a detail-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- General bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assisting in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements.
- Handling confidential financial information with discretion.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a finance assistant or bookkeeping role.
- Familiarity with purchase sales ledger and sales ledger tasks.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
