THE GIG

We are looking for a confident Retail Operations Coordinator to oversee daily operations of our retail stores, to provide a service that supports the delivery and growth of business objectives and to lead initiatives that transform our retail experience. Providing general assistance and admin support to the Head Office Retail Operations team, you will ensure the efficient and effective operation of all UK and European Retail stores. This role is based in Camden, Hawley Crescent Head office.

  • You will work with Retail Operations Manager EMEA, Store teams, and employees to work on store operations, create and support new concepts, and develop and deliver meaningful programs to the Retail departments
  • Managing weekly NSO calls and communications with all key stakeholders
  • Managing retail operations NSO related tasks
  • Manages and coordinates with new store development team all pre-opening planning and scheduling.
  • Support in stock Control - portal management, adjustments and stocktakes
  • Support with maintenance of inventory management programmes including but not limited to on hand management, delivery entry and returns processing
  • Support with execution of EMEA bi-annual stocktakes, ensure all supporting documentation is up to date. Train and up skill the field team. Analyse stocktakes variances and communicate results
  • Support new store openings with implementing compliance and BAU processes and procedures
  • Vendor management including NGFR, Security, mystery shop and third party ensuring that there is a seamless service for stores
  • Managing the store operations inbox and responding to store queries in a timely manner
  • Managing "end to end" projects including Vendor management, store communications and consumer insights
  • You'll be working closely with the Regional Managers and stores to ensure timely/effective communication toward stores
  • Supporting in Invoice management including raising purchase orders and approving invoices
  • Identifying key opportunities within existing store operational processes and make plans to improve them
  • Responsible for maintenance of Storeforce data and communication
  • Use strategic thinking to see the big picture, determine the problem and understand fundamental parts of the problem
  • Maintain knowledge base regarding specific operations and processes within store operations
  • Recommend processes to continually improve performance, resources, skills and expense controls.
  • Manage issues and roadblocks that arise related to their area of responsibility.
  • Respond proactively to unanticipated store needs arising out of a variety of inputs. Manage action steps necessary for successful execution of both strategic projects/initiatives and process improvement.

  • Similar experience within a retail operations field. Know what good looks like within a retail environment
  • Strong communication skills, hands on approach and engaging management style and strong project management experience with an understanding of how to drive retail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong ownership to get things done and desire to excel and succeed
  • Strong understanding of compliance and processes
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement, recommend actions and support with implementations
  • A strong commitment to align the retail operations with customer needs
  • Ability to develop employees and relationships at all levels across multiple countries and languages
  • Can react quickly and efficiently within a fast-paced retail environment
  • Any additional language is advantageous
  • A high standard of IT literacy is required, as the jobholder will be using Microsoft Office packages and our own internal systems.
