A Maintenance Engineer is required for a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a busy manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine and preventive maintenance, repair of industrial machinery, and troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

Description

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment meet safety regulations
  • Continuous improvement of plant utilization
  • ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001
  • Participating in CAPEX projects to support the Maintenance Manager
  • Facilities maintenance

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Relevant inspection and testing qualifications and experience
  • Industrial experience within a maintenance role in manufacturing.
  • HNC/HND
  • 18th Edition
  • An understanding of risk assessments and COSHH
  • Electrical and mechanical background
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery
  • PLC fault finding skills

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary depending on experience.
  • An annual bonus opportunity of 6%, based on company, site and individual performance
  • Working 40 hours, Monday to Friday
  • 25 days holiday per year increasing with service up to 29 days, plus bank holidays.
