Operations Resilience - Process BA

Hybrid Working 3 days onsite per week in London

Our client a leading banking institution is looking or an experienced BA with an strong knowledge of operations resilience and the upcoming regulatory changes in regard to the operation resilience framework to prepare the bank to achieve set goals, objectives and scope for the business to meet the March 2025 regulatory deadline.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office with emphasis on Visio - essential.
  • Background and experience in implementing operational resilience regulatory improvements.
  • Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience working in a changing environment or experience in a financial service or banking environment.
  • A track record of delivering business operational/process improvements in a banking environment, specifically in operations process documentation.
  • Demonstrable project and process delivery skills, including accurate project planning, milestone delivery, project management, and effective status updates.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the bank.
  • Lean Six Sigma

Key Responsibilities:

Process mapping and Improvement: Proven ability to identify process steps and improvement areas and propose changes that benefit the bank.

  • Work with all functional business areas to identify, map and set impact tolerances for all important business functions within the bank.
  • Provide detailed process mapping with teams in Operations, identifying where improvements can be made and presenting these through recommendations.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Use Visio to create clear and comprehensive process flow diagrams.
  • Provide detailed process mapping with teams in the business, identifying where improvements can be made and presenting these through recommendations.
  • Assist in developing process improvement policies and infrastructure, ensuring these are well documented.

Stakeholder Management: Ability to build up strong working relationships with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, Senior Management, and the bank, ensuring project requirements and updates are communicated and visible.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the operational model of the Bank.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and refine the process documentation.
