Lidl GB's award-winning Internal Audit Department has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, confident, and self-motivated individual that would take pride in carrying out ad-hoc audit analyses and supporting our Head of Audit & Customer Care and the wider department with project-related tasks. This is an ideal role for a positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and strives in achieving perfection.

What you'll do

  • In your role as an Auditor Coordinator, you'll carry out ad-hoc audit projects and analyses where quick insights are required to understand business risks and process compliance
  • You'll be reporting directly to the Head of Audit & Customer Care and working closely with the Audit Management on project-related tasks
  • You'll actively work together with other Auditors to deliver an excellent auditing service across the business
  • Liaising with colleagues nationally and internationally
  • Preparing executive summaries of audit results for key stakeholders
  • Putting audit data together to give added value insights to the business

What you'll need

  • Degree-level education in any discipline (desirable not essential)
  • German language skills is essential for this position
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Audit experience would be advantageous
  • Trustworthy with the ability to keep information confidential
  • Strong ability to understand complex problems and scenarios, and to analyse them in detail
  • The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate confidently with people across all levels of the business
  • The ability to work well with others whilst forming and articulating your own views and opinions
  • An innovative, adaptable self-starter who works well independently
  • Highly organised with excellent attention for detail
