Accounts Receivable Accountant

Accounts Receivable Accountant - Wokingham - £200 - £250 per day - Hybrid - 4 month contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain the accounts receivable ledger, recording all transactions and payments.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, establishing communication with clients to facilitate timely payment.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances with customer statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes, ensuring all receivables are recorded accurately.
  • Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of accounts receivable activities.

Qualifications:

  • Years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
