PE Teacher – SEMH School

Are you a qualified PE Teacher looking for an opportunity teaching small groups of students? Do you enjoy planning and delivering practical lessons that encourage teamwork? Are you looking to join a team who are committed to giving every child a second chance? This excellent SEMH school is currently recruiting for a PE Teacher to join an experienced team of teachers and support staff.

As a PE Teacher at this school, you will be teaching small classes of students with SEMH needs, some who have been excluded form mainstream education. You will be given the freedom to plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to the needs of the groups you are working with and will receive outstanding support from the school's leadership team. This role requires a QTS PE Teacher who loves their subject and is passionate about helping young people to overcome barriers to learning. This role is suitable for ECT PE Teachers with string classroom management skills.

Job Role:

  • Teaching Physical Education lessons to small classes of students.
  • Planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to individual needs of students.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and teaching assistants to support students.
  • Communicating effectively with staff, students and parents.
