Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 . Competitive and based on experience.

Location: Widnes

Our client is seeking a process-driven, commercially-minded Finance Manager to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model with only two days per week required on-site in Widnes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing forecasts and budgets, conducting P&L reviews, and implementing processes to enhance customer experience and ensure accurate reporting. What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of the business. You will be responsible for preparing forecasts and budgets, conducting P&L reviews, and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations. Your ability to build strong relationships will be key as you lead presentations with both finance and non-finance teams. You will also play a crucial role in identifying risks to delivery, proposing solutions, and managing stakeholder expectations. Furthermore, you will implement processes that enhance the customer journey while ensuring accurate reporting. Your role will also involve completing ad hoc reports and leading projects with the support of an assistant management accountant.

  • Preparation of forecasts and budgets

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position will bring a wealth of experience from a similar finance role. You should hold an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or be QBE. Your proactive approach will be key in supporting continuous improvement within the business.

Your ability to develop and foster strong relationships will be essential in this role, as well as your attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
