A family owned business in Ulverston has partnered with Kenton Black Finance as they look to strengthen their finance team by appointing a new finance lead. With a current turnover in the region of £16m the business is firmly rooted in their market for 25+ years.
This is an autonomous role which provides excellent business facing exposure alongside routine accounting duties, being a key player in decision making and ongoing business success.
A full time role is available, or reduced hours can be considered for the successful candidate.

Your New Role as Finance Manager:
This role can be mouldable to suit the individual, with support and guidance from Senior Management and external accountants as required.
As Finance Manager, duties will include:
- Leading a small team of transactional finance staff, responsible for their training and development
- Ownership for all financial reporting, management accounts production, commentary and analysis
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Review of AP and AR activities
- Work closely with senior management to ensure effective decisions are made
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be proven in a similar level role. My client is also considering applicants who have good grounding exposure and would like to develop into a more senior role with appropriate levels of support and mentoring.
