UBT Recruitment are working with a family-run SME based in Brentwood to recruit a Warehouse Operative. You will be joining a global manufacturer of height access equipment, that have earned a strong reputation for delivering top-quality products and services to their customers. They are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring that all products are handled efficiently and safely.
Working hours & Salary: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm (1 hour Lunch). 45 hours per week. Optional overtime. £28,080 per annum (£12 per hour).
Warehouse Operative Duties:
- Ensuring timely dispatch of customer orders
- Accurately assembling product ready for use
- Handling hire stock for return, cleaning and dispatch
- Building kit list of scaffold requirement
- Loading/unloading vehicles
- Operating order processing system for shipping
- Basic repairs of products
Requirements
- Forklift Counterbalance licence
- Attention to detail and following specific processes
- Physically fit and healthy
- Self driven and ability to work as a part of team
- Willingness to learn and adapt
