Position: Nursery Nurse (Level 3 Childcare)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and the ability to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and educational experiences to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Monitor and record children's progress and provide feedback to parents and carers.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the nursery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Support the development of each child's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or BA in Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards continuous professional development.
  • Current First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
