Join this leading purpose-driven brand as Operations Manager where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring driving operational excellence and ensuring swift and cost efficient delivery of goods to this brands global customer base.
This position requires a strong background of operations management within a consumer goods business, and with a global vendor base and major retailers. You will be process driven with a desire to optimise efficiencies, be service-level focussed, and have the ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, both within the business and externally.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving operational excellence within your area, identifying areas for improvement, streamlining and maximising efficiencies
- Ensuring OTIF delivery to this brands global retailer base, ensuring both cost an speed are optimised
- Enhancing sales margins through value engineering across the entire end-to-end process, from project commencement to final delivery
- Working closely with global retailers, warehouses and factories
- Managing and tracking all live projects from initial pitch through to end delivery, ensuring all agreed timelines are met
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal teams, factories, retailers, and warehouses
- Managing and mentoring the Delivery team
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills:
- Experience supplying into volume and FMCG retailers
- Good working knowledge of FOB and ex-works delivery
- Experience working with a global factory base
- A great line manager and team leader
- Adept at working with large volumes, and thrives in a fast-paced role and business
- An excellent relationship builder both internally and externally
