Metalis are working in partnership with a family owned global manufacturing company. Putting design, development and manufacturing at the heart of what they do enabling them to produce premium ground care equipment. To support their continued growth, they are looking for a production welder to join their UK team based at our office in Northampton.
In this role, you will be a key member of our Industrial Coating team painting components for the production of commercial grown care equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Coat components to a high standard
- Powder coating and wet spraying
- Shot blasting
- QC check work
- Follow SOP
- Work within designated timescale
- Work well with an existing team
- Continuous improvement
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Have experience working in a production environment
- Have good experience in coating
- Have an eye for detail
- Follow our in house processes
- Be willing to learn new skills
- Have the ability to learn new skills and adapt to new processes
- Be self motivated and tenacious
- Be adaptable and able to work in a team
Hours and Pay:
- Mon - Thu 07:00 - 16:00, Fri - 07:00 - 13:00
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
