Porter and Maintenance Assistant

Our client is currently looking for a Porter and Maintenance Assistant to join their existing team.
As a Porter and Maintenance Assistant you will be required to work some weekends on a rotated basis. Your duties will include:
- Assisting in keeping public areas tidy and well-maintained
- Helping housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture
- Ensuring the safety of guests by, for instance, placing and removing signage that indicates wet floors or paint
- Basic maintenance skills to assist with maintenance tasks as needed, general DIY skills
- Maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, decorating
- Daily checks such as gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, bins.
- Hot tub cleaning and maintenance
This will be a dual role with the requirement to work some weekends on a rotated basis, alongside a Head of Maintenance you will maintain daily checks to ensure the good running of the building and equipment. You will be reliable and professional and an all-round team player
As a Porter and Maintenance Assistant you must be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting and moving of furniture.
